Let me start out by saying here that I feel both very blessed and privileged to have this web site, and that over the years I have thoroughly enjoyed collecting Gems & Minerals. I still do. It has, and always will be a lifelong passion.

Times are tough, and everyone seems to be "holding back" to some degree on their discretionary spending. I do believe that "one hand washes the other", and that we must all be able to help each other out. Especially during these tricky times. Overall this helps each one of us out by keeping things flowing within the structure of our financial economy.

Personally, I do not believe in the classic "blow-out" sales like some dealers might advertise. Each unique gem and mineral specimen that I acquire is seriously scrutinized for the best quality to offer to you, here on my site. Then for pricing, I give a considerable amount of thought regarding: my acquisition costs; quality; aesthetics; rarity; etc. My general philosophy on selling these beauties is to come up with the proper price in the first place, specific to each specimen.

Still, I have always considered any reasonable offer presented to me by collectors. After much consideration I have decided to offer my customers, and the whole wide world of mineral collectors discounts across the board. These discounts are effective immediately (as of Monday, August 17, 2009) and shall remain in effect until further notice.

Rather than adjust the price on each individual specimen, I came up with the following great discounts based on the following pricing categories:

1. Specimens costing $499 or less = 5% OFF *

2. Specimens costing $500 - $999 = 10% OFF *

3. Specimens costing $1,000 - & higher = 15% OFF *
