Dazzling
miniature, featuring one larger Scheelite crystal, and several smaller
ones scattered throughout a Quartz matrix. Great "root beer"
color, with sharp terminations! The Quartz has a wonderful, sparkly
snow white drusy coating, creating a wonderful color contrast. A real
attractive specimen! |

Whopping
white Calcite crystal on matrix. Although I only scored a few specimens
at the Denver 2007 show, they were all very especially unique. This
cabinet piece is no exception! There's also a couple of smaller Calcite
hexagonal crystals, along with some Quartz needles, and a few smaller,
lighter colored Scheelite's (see detailed close up top right). The translucent
Calcite's have sharp terminations, as well as interesting striations
working towards the crystal centers. Outstanding cabinet piece! |

Also
from the Denver 2007 show, this is one of the most amazing Fluorite
crystals I have ever seen. First of all it has the clarity of a pristine
of a mountain river; gorgeous violet coloring; and unique inclusions!
I did the photo shoot with two different colored backgrounds, but due
to the light reflecting off, it still falls short of how transparently
clear it is. The Muscovite weaves inside and out of the Fluorite. To
top it off, there are several small, bright, Scheelite crystals on the
bottom right side (see lower right photo). The Fluorie measures almost
2.0 cm across. Very cool, and unique large-miniature. |

PLEASE
NOTE: All of the photographs are not to scale. Some are enlarged to
give you an accurate and an in depth view of all the details for you
to see. Please always refer to specimen size in all my listings for
the actual size, as this is what the final price is based on. Although
picture colors can vary slightly from browsers to computers, I go to
great lengths in photographing all mineral specimens with complete color
accuracy, without any retouching whatsoever! My photo studio lighting
consists of 4800K fluorescent lighting, which simulates the wavelengths
of daylight. In some cases for a different effect I have utilized regular
incandescent lighting to provide a different effect. If a specimen has
knowingly been repaired, I will always disclose this information to
you. |
